Valencia Sailing in Palma de Mallorca

Starting this afternoon, Valencia Sailing will leave the world's sailing capital to go to Palma de Mallorca to cover the Hublot-PalmaVela races, focusing mainly on the TP52's that will participate for the first time.

The PalmaVela started yesterday, with Alfa Romeo winning in the Maxi Racer class, after one race. Unfortunately, a strong rain shower accompanied by a remarkable wind drop forced the Race Officer to abandon the second race.

Wind conditions were also unfavourable for the Maxi Cruiser class whose coastal race was abandoned as well.

The six TP52's are scheduled to race on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the first race today at 2:30pm. Stay tuned for lots of interesting news and nice pictures, weather allowing!!
