Chris Dickson will not helm USA-98 today
This is off the press: Chris Dickson will not be helming USA-98 today!!! Sten Mohr will be driving the BMW Oracle boat. The first time he drove USA-98 in an official race was in the Louis Vuitton Round Robin when the Americans lost against the Chinese.
Update 12:40: You can read the official press release in the BMW Oracle website. The decision in itself isn't surprising, the timing is more intriguing. Why wasn't such a decision taken before yesterday's race when it was already clear that Dickson was not up to the task. What looks more interesting though as we are writing this is the wind outlook. We will probably have a light-air day which is an advantage to Luna Rossa.
