Golden Gate Yacht Club files court papers
[Source: Golden Gate Yacht Club] In our continuing fight for fair rules, and to stop SNG from trying to disqualify our challenge vessel even before it races, GGYC has served our reply brief and exhibits on SNG. Our latest filing is a point by point rebuttal of SNG's opposition papers to our motion asking the the Court to reconsider its previous decisions concerning racing and measurement rules governing AC33.
There is an easier way of making sure your boat is not disqualified than going to court - make a boat that measures! All money and no sense aren't you lot? You have the best of everything to make a boat that could successfully challenge, if only you put your effort into that instead of moaning.
Crystal clear and compelling memorandum of law. Best papers yet from GGYC's lawyers, in my lawyerly opinion. The McAlpine affidavit is a serious setback for SNG. Interesting how SNG can only get affidavits from their employees while GGYC gets them from outside experts (Willis, McAlpine, Herreshoff, etc.).
Once again, so much for SNG trying to win off the water. This next legal round is going to prove very damning to all that SNG has tried to do. The true is coming out on SNG & sadly they have been digging their own grave.
