Société Nautique de Genève statement following Justice Kornreich's latest decision
[Source: Alinghi] Fred Meyer, SNG vice-commodore:
“New York Supreme Court Justice Kornreich has brought a degree more certainty to the 33rd America's Cup today. It is good to at last have her decision on some of the pending issues. Alinghi continues to focus on its training programme ahead of the Match for the 33rd America's Cup against BMW Oracle on 8 February 2010.”

SNG is in denial, denial, denial & .......
More court to come no doubt :-(
What does this mean? Will they sail in Valencia?
Sailing in Valencia, ok then. But we will see only a handful of spectators in this chilly season, regatta sailors in jackets tailored for the southern ocean and endless postponements for the first, the second or the third race (sorry, not more than three races, at the most!). Some suspense and entertainment only when A5 or DOGZilla capsize or masts break.
I think that BMW ORACLE are capable of anything even to ask the opposite of their previous will if possible ? See all previous decisions of New York Court !
so who cares about spectators? This is about sailing and not theatre (at least I thought so).
based on the difficulties Alinghi presently has with getting their boat out of RAK it probably was a good idea of BMWOracle to refuse to go there in the first place...
If you want to see some cool pics of BMWOracle flying a hull in a tightly packed San Diego harbour:

Idiots, there are not problems to get the boat out of RAK. Who told you that? Facts on the table...
EB told me himself...I guess he should know
To ANon 5:10pm
Stop lying. You don't even know Ernesto, so don't try to impress anyone by stating such untrue information.
Meyer rhymes with liar.
