Murphy&Nye to supply clothing of United Internet Team Germany

Clad in a brand-new outfit, the United Internet Team Germany will kick off the new regatta season: Italian company Murphy&Nye will supply the German challenger of the 32nd America's Cup with clothing. As their official clothing supplier, Murphy & Nye provides the team with functional sailing wear as well as leisure and evening clothes. The partners have also agreed that Murphy&Nye will manufacture a replica line of the team collection that will be available to all fans of the first German America's Cup campaign.

The contract of cooperation was signed by Murphy&Nye's General Manager Giulio Sala and Michael Scheeren, Head of Syndicate with United Internet Team Germany. "In the course of our restructuring, we have now come a step further into the new era of the United Internet Team Germany: agreeing on a partnership with the clothing brand most closely connected with the 32nd America's Cup," says Scheeren.

"Our engagement with the first German challenger underlines that Murphy&Nye not only has a competence in fashion, but also is a serious label of functional clothing," adds Erika Palese, Managing Director Murphy&Nye for Germany and Austria.

The United Internet Team Germany will be supplied with a full of clothing for the Louis Vuitton Acts 10 to 12 in Valencia, this year's pre-regattas to the 32nd America's Cup. Murphy&Nye will not only provide the team with the functional sailing gear for the wet action ranging from jackets to underwear and shoes, but also with fashionable wear for both leisure and representative functions on shore. The fans, too, will be able choose from a complete range: The replica line will offer caps, jackets, T-shirts, and shorts as well as daypacks and bags.
