Louis Vuitton Act 10 - Day 5: BMW Oracle loses against Alinghi

BMW Oracle suffered their first defeat today agains the Defender of the America's Cup, Alinghi. It was a very close race with the Swiss leading from the beginning. According to Chris Dickson, skipper of the American challenger, Alinghi did not leave any openings and gave no opportunities at all to pass them.

The bottom line is that the top of the table got more complicated. Assuming that BMW Oracle wins the one race that less than the other three of the Big Four, then all of them would be tied with 8 points. As a result, Tuesday´s action with three matches between Big Four teams will be of absolute importance.
