GER-89 masted and almost ready for her first sail in Valencia

GER-89, the brand new boat of the German America's Cup challenger United Internet Team Germany, has now been masted and most probably should make her maiden sail in Valencia within a few days, approximately two weeks after her arrival in Port America's Cup from Kiel.

After GER-89 is put into water, the last America's Cup yacht still on preparation inside America's Cup port will be ITA-85. The hull of the new boat of the Italian team +39 Challenge is still inside the boatshed while the yacht is scheduled to make her maiden splash in Valencia's warm waters during the first week of September.
