Louis Vuitton Cup - Round Robin 2 - Day 6: Preview

Good morning from sunny Valencia, hoping that sailors will be as happy as tourists today. It seems as if finally we could have stable but nevertheless, light conditions. Yesterday's cancelled races of Flight 5 are rescheduled for today, in addition to the already programmed Flight 6. It's going to be another long day.

Nevertheless, the day's main news is Mascalzone Capitalia's breach of rules and the decision by the jury to resail the match between them and Desafío Español. At 11am the Italian team will hold a press conference in order to present their case. If the Spanish win the repeated match not only do they advance in their quest for the fourth place but they will send the Italians to the basement of the score table.

Weather forecast
The low pressure system that caused us so many problems lately has moved to the northeast and left a light northwesterly gradient behind. The America's Cup organizers expect winds that start from the northwest 7-10 knots but will veer through to east, possibly southeast if sea breeze develops through the afternoon. Some cumulus cloud will develop inland but in general it should be warmer.
