The Zurich GP42 is being fitted out in Valencia's yacht club

Valencia is not just the Louis Vuitton Cup or the America's Cup. On the sidelines of the world's most famous sailing event, the city's yacht club serves as the logistics center for the TP52 and GP42 classes. A number of TP52's are being prepared for the summer season here while all GP42´s built by King Marine in Argentina are being fitted out in the yacht club.

The first two GP42´s arrived last week in Valencia and early this morning Jan Santana's Zurich-sponsored yacht was masted with a 2-spreader rig from Hall Spars. The yacht was designed by Botin & Carkeek and in this year's first international GP42 circuit shw will be helmed by Alinghis' Jordi Calafat.
