TP52 Alicante Trophy - Day 4: Preview - Second coastal race

Good morning from Alicante. The schedule for today consists of a second coastal race, similar to yesterday's with just one exception. Instead of leaving the Tabarca island to port, today yachts will have to leave it to starboard. There are also be fewer marks to round and as a result its length is shorter. The leaderboard is far from decided and if light conditions prevail today we could see some changes at the top. The first six boats are all 2007 generation built and have shown to perform in heavier winds.

One thing is for sure, after yesterday's debacle aboard Artemis, everybody is making sure they have read the Notice of Race, just like Russell Coutts did, unfortunately after the end of the race.
