Team Origin sail GBR-75 for the first time in Valencia

Yesterday afternoon, Team Origin, the British team that intends to challenge Alinghi for the 33rd America's Cup, sailed for the first time on Valencia's waters, aboard their America's Cup Class yacht GBR-75 (ex SUI-75). The boat belonged to Alinghi and was recently acquired by the British team. She was refitted and painted in Alinghi's base and took her maiden sail with her new colors on Saturday.

Unfortunately, my official obligations with the GP42 class (check the GP42 website for all details on the exciting Trofeo de la Reina) as well as a tremendous flu, made it impossible to closely follow this important event.

Nevertheless, German photographer Heike Schwab was there and sent us the following two photos. Finally, I am in no position to know who was sailing aboard GBR-75. We will post more details as soon as we get them.
