Sweet boat but very sad day when valenciasailing switch its position as an "independent" journal to become a classified.

The commercialism that this ad brings and what it means for the site and what the page has become is very disappointing and sad.

I read each and every one of the comments and always take note. I understand the previous reader's fear that valenciasailing might not remain "independent" but I don't share it.

It's simple Economics 101. There's no free lunch and VS can't keep providing its content without additional income.

The website will not be transformed into a giant classified, it is the first and only time we do it in order to make this new section public. The classified section will be separate.

Does the anonymous reader know any media (regardless of its form and content) that doesn't have advertising? Just ask the NY Times shareholders whether they would be happy if management decided to scrap ads!!!

Last but certainly not least, the fact Fermax is advertizing the sale of their boat through VS doesn't mean I won't hit them if they screw in racing up!!!!

I agree and support VS. Although I would recommend to keep this section under a separate link.
