Paul Cayard is in Valencia, so go ahead and ask a question

Tomorrow Thursday, at 10:30am Valencia time, Paul Cayard, Desafío Español's newly-appointed sports director, will give his first public conference since he joined the challenger of record last week.

We will obviously be at the Spanish team's base in order to grill the American sailor and as a result, we welcome any question from any reader, the harder the better. Just leave a comment at the bottom of this post or send us an email.

Please send your questions before Thursday, 10am Valencia time (4am New York,9pm Auckland).

Why was a good thing for Desafio to become the Challenger of Record?

Would you have recommended to be the Challenger of Record?

If not, would you recommend Desafío to retire as a COR and come up as a regular challenger?

Four days to October 22.
Will be the Court of NY to resolve the problems of the Americas' Cup or the brain of the people involved in the Cup?

I thank you are involved Deafio Espanol, they has a logical order inside like this.
Minimum result for your challenge is semi-finals now, but you have lost a regular but experienced driver, a good navigator and other trimmers. You haven’t any America’s Cup sailor winner on your budget.
Could you go ahead to final Louis Vuitton (now Rolex) like this?
How many foreigner sailors you need?
Do you drive?

Thank you

Your team designer is “Farr Yacht Design”, Agustin Zulueta said they are the best. But they didn’t win any Louis Vuitton ever (and obviously, they haven’t challenged on America’s Cup final).
Could you change “Farr Yacht Design” mentality and request them logical aptitude for a winner America’s Cup yacht designer (like live on sailor base, speak sailors every day, speak sail designer and mast designer,…)?

Hi,
I think you are one best America’s Sailor on world now (I remembered one downwind on 2000th over heel boat and breaking several spinnaker, all for win, unavailable), but you won America’s Cup never, and you know well the difference between win or lose America’s Cup.
Do you are on Spanish Challenge for money? Or, Do you think you can win with Spanish really?

Best regards
