PRB's mast breaks - Riou and Josse safe and sound

It was 9:45 GMT when Vincent Riou called the PRB shore team to inform them that the monohull's masthead had broken. When the incident occurred, Vincent and Sébastien were both inside the boat, sailing in 25 knots of wind with a reef in the mainsail. PRB crashed into a wave and 3 metres of the masthead snapped. Both skippers are unhurt, currently making progress towards the North under ORC (heavy weather jib) in order to avoid the big low pressure system expected to hit the area. More details shortly.
