Desafío's TP52 team training in Valencia

While Desafío's GP42 team was busy in Santa Margherita collecting victories in the opening event of the Quebramar GP42 Cup, their TP52 colleagues have been training for the last few days in Valencia, under excellent conditions. The Audi Medcup will start in a few days, May 12, in Alicante and there is hardly any time to waste.

The Spanish team will participate in the TP52 with the same crew as last year in the America's Cup. Paul Cayard will be the skipper and Laureano Wizner, helmsman of the GP42 boat, and Terry Hutchinson will replace him when he's not available.

The rest of the crew will consist of John Cutler, Bruno Zirilli, Pedro Mas, Miguel Jáuregui, Enrique Cameselle, Diego Guigou, Pablo Rosano, Nacho Braquehais, Marcos Iglesias, Gustavo Vilariño, Christian Scherrer, Carlo Castellano, Jorge Ondo and Agustín Zulueta.

The brand new boat will be officially christened tomorrow and on Friday she will head to Alicante.
