First sail of the brand new GP42 Islas Canarias Puerto Calero

The brand new GP42 Islas Canarias Puerto Calero carried out her first test sail a week ago in Castellón and Valencia Sailing was obviously there. We were asked not to publish the photos until today, so here they are. Botín opted for an increase in volumes aft and the yacht is closer in concept to the Emirates Team NZ TP52, another new design of the Spanish yacht designer.

Islas Canarias Puerto Calero will leave Castellón today and head to Alicante for the curtain-raiser of the 2009 AUDI Medcup.
