Meanwhile in San Diego... all seems quiet

Valencia Sailing's "recon team" now spans two continents. Our on-the-spot observer in San Diego and old friend from Valencia, Goli, visited the BMW Oracle compound on Monday morning and sent us his report.

Generally speaking, the BMW Oracle compound looked very quiet but there was still some visible increased activity. Still, we should bear in mind that Monday was Memorial Day, a traditional US holiday, and as a result the lack of any frantic activity might be related to that.

According to Goli, a small opening in the tent allowed him to have a peak inside and vaguely see the outlines of a trimaran hull. At least, there was a yacht inside, now which one it is, that's a completely different story. One thing is for sure, the BOR90 poster that used to greet visitors at the entrance is gone.

Note: All photos and observations were strictly legal and our friend Goli was not invited for drinks or dinner by Russell Coutts, James Spithill or any other BMW Oracle member.

All seems quiet in Valencia, because all the BOR spies are out in the field doing "recon cell work" ......

The display that you can see in the photo taken in December, seems a little temporal and it was the first time I noticed. But later on it was fixed at the wall in a more secure and permanent manner. Coincidence?
