Alfa Romeo III continues undefeated in Copa del Rey

Nothing stops Ben Ainslie at the helm of Alfa Romeo III in the bay of Palma. With yet another two bullets today, Neville Chrichton's yacht comfortably holds the top spot in the IRC division with a 10-point cushion over second-placed STP65 Container. Today's light northerly sea breeze favoured the big boats of the IRC group and the Reichel&Pugh 70 footer won the first race after choosing the left-hand side of the course on the first beat, and repeated tactics, and victory, in the second race.

The five-strong TP52 fleet made its debut in competition, and Realstone Matador, considered one of the favourites, is tied in first place with Vasco Vascotto's Mutua Madrileña.
