[Source: BMW Oracle] Following conclusion on Wednesday of another productive sea-trialing session in San Diego, the BMW ORACLE Racing shore team hauled the massive BOR 90 out of the water on Thursday for several days of scheduled maintenance and development.

Scott Sandford (NZL) led a team that took the 185-foot mast out of the boat before lifting the trimaran out of the water and into the boatyard Thursday. By early afternoon maintenance and the latest planned modifications were well underway.

On Friday, the BOR 90 was attracting even more attention from passersby than it does when in the water, given the unique position of the cradle and yacht -- atop a shipping container in the middle of the compound.

Sea-trials will continue later next week.
