Alinghi 5 apparently ready to be launched
There isn't much to this story apart for the photo. Right after the press conference at the BMW Oracle base, Alinghi's boatbuilding tent opened up and Alinghi 5 came out, apparently ready to be launched on Valencia's waters. If our information is correct and if wind conditions are favorable she should be sailing before the weekend.

Yo lo del mástil del BOR lo veo una locura. En San DIego debe haber habido un viento muy estable pero si hoy estuviera pinchado el mástil del BOR con rachas de 60 nudos es un riesgo enorme aunque esté amarrado. No se si se han medido el viento del oeste que puede llegar a soplar por aquí en esta época.
FOTOS DEL BMWOR - lo siento . Como el Barco es en un a zona donde nadia puede llegar sin autorisacion, no podiamos hacer fotos. Bueno, tambien creo que ellos estan bastante liado con lo de laminar y curar componentes- como el palo por ejemplo.Supongo que hay conscientimiento mutuo sobre esto ?
