Grant Dalton: Monday's was our worst race in the last 6 years

While we're waiting for the breeze to pick up and settle down in Auckland, it's interesting to watch the following, albeit short, video of the general manager of the world's best monohull sailing team (following Alinghi's demise), that they sailed their worst race in the last 6 years. I wonder what race was that in 2004 when the kiwis sailed even worse!

Maybe it's time for you to RETIRE, Grant?

Just like you advised a few weeks ago, in connection with 'certain members' of the Alinghi team?

... Find (or start!) a retirement community on a quiet bay, with waterfront and some space for a few old ACC, V5 boats!

I think you will find that winning a TP52 MED CUP doesn`t make you the best mono hull sailing team in the world!
Grant seems to forget that they still got their cheeks parted in 2007.
Bean Darker is not the best helmsman in the world either.
Inside word says that Alinghi is far from over as well.
Have fun with your dog and pony show Grant and Bruno.
Suckers!

Agree with LVT being Dog and Pony show but also agree with Grant for ALinghi New Zealanders. Lately they created more troubles than good. And cost a helluva lot of money as well!

Quite a lot of negativism among all the "experts" commenting. Move on...
