Team Origin take two race wins on day one of RORC Easter regatta

[Source: Team Origin] The Solent delivered everything it could find today to the 62 competitors in the RORC Easter Regatta - the day started with driving rain and squalls of up to 30 knots and ended with glorious spring sunshine and challenging race conditions for all.

62 boats took to the water and in Class Super Zero, three TP52s (including TEAMORIGIN's Rio) and one Farr 52 completed two races. TEAMORIGIN took two race wins on day one.

Mike Sanderson, Team Director, summed up the action, "That was a fun day on the Solent, we came looking for some breeze to get us ready for a possible windy start to the Audi Med Cup series. A grizzly start turned into a beautiful day on the Solent."

Tomorrow sees three races scheduled in, with a further two on Sunday.

Iain Percy, Tactician, summed up the day for TEAMORIGIN, "Fun to be sailing back home in great spring conditions. The guys did a great job of getting us round a challenging course."
