Thanks Pierre. Good job. We'll have to wait, but it looks promising.

So now, what do we know more? Probably nothing.

Russell, to take pressure off, you have to set a strategy. Do you know that word?

Defender selection series smells fishy to me. Need more details about that.

Anony 9:51 - why is how GGYC determines their defender of any concern to you? Are you planning to enter the series?

Why fishy? You guys see a conspiracy even in a roll of toilet paper.

I agree with te fishy smell.
It smells like Oracle B and Oracle C teams: A disguised way to get more boat testing than the challengers. Wait until they say how many boats per team...

Not much detail but if they really do create an even playing field and exciting racing good on them.

what a joke!
Yes for sure teams have to sign latest 1. of January - but the most important announcement of Venue and time will be made in December! Russel if this is what your experts have worked out so fare congratulation. You have the right people for marketing and sales on board - it is so easy to find sponsors by knowing nothing about the event!!
Well done

Shouldn't there be a process of pitching the sponsorship of the Challenger Selection Series and the AC or both combined without handing it on a plate to LVMH. RC has already said thet more regattas will cost teams more so why not maximise the income potential by going to the market. Nothing against LV but they have to pay the market price.

I agree to anonymous (4:24) yes it is nice to have this pre events but if you look on the costs you will have to cover for this pre races (400K was Auckland without own ship) an no outlook for the sponsor on timing and venue of the real thing it will be a very tough fight to get money in to the team - or Larry takes not only on care for the VO red win team but also for the other challengers :)
Lets see but never give up!!!
