What is this?

What is the vessel that appears in the photo? A trimaran, a catamaran or a keel boat? At least two things are certain, she is motor boat and she arrived in Valencia yesterday.

Concerning last week's quiz, one of our readers posted the correct answer. It was the deck of the brand new GP42 under construction at the Décision boatyard in Switzerland.

Bertarelli's lawyers and experts would undoubtedly say that it's impossible to tell if it is a ballasted keelboat or a un-ballasted SPACESHIP!!

If I recall the skipper had 2kg of body fat Liposuction out of his fat ass (converted the fat into biodiesel)to prove how committed to a green earth and how fuel efficient they are. If they where
really committed to a green earth why not stay home and plant a garden or something.
At least in ten years all that carbon (carbon fiber) will be sequestered in the back of some boatyard somewhere.

EARTHRACE!

They have a deal with a sponsor who would outweight the emissions with the planting of trees in Africa.

The last attempt was ampered when they spent days in prison after running over a fisherman in South America and yards trying to balance the propelors bronken by the fisherman
