Great looking boat. But they need to change that marking on the boat that says "Swiss Made". For it to be accurate it needs to say:

SWISS MADE
*Accept for the sails*

In the DOG the word is "constructed" not "made". I looked in my English Dictionary for the definition of construct here it is: "to put together the parts of" So the parts can be from many sources, but you need to put them together to have a finished product. I understand no complete sail came from 3DL, their moulding tables are not big enough. So where where the sails constructed Nevada or Villeneuve?

Salena's Dad - By that logic, Alinghi could have transported their boat out of SUI via truck in individual pieces. The funny thing is, they didn't, which clearly demonstrates how they read the definition of CIC. Doh!

Does Salena's Dads' comment also cover BOR's English winches?

About this Constructed in Country (CIC) Issue. What about the previous Cups?
Where did the 3DL sails come from in the past editions of the A's Cup? As far as I know all big 3DL sails come from Nevada.
In last editions many/most of the teams sailed with 3DL North Sails=Nevada.
Even Russel Coutts, i guess, when he won for the last time with Alinghi...

I know that the CIC rule can be over ruled by a gentlemen's agreement. So stop being hypocrite about it.
I guess BOR is realy looking for some extra time as they struggle with their wing...
To come up with the CIC issue 2 months before the cup is quite unrealistic.

A Sailor of the World

ps I support none of the teams, they don't deserve my support as they mess around with our sport.
